Mark van Roosmalen grew an interest in the medical sector during his early years in high school. After graduating in 2007 he studied law at the Leiden Law School. In 2009 he began started his medical studies at Leiden Medical School. He has a broad range of interests and has been active in a wide variety of fields. Apart from his studies he has gained experience in clinical research, has been part of several organizing committees and worked as a student consultant for both commercial and governmental organizations. He believes that in the current healthcare sector doctors should develop themselves both in a clinical and non-clinical context.
